Steve Cottrell spent more than twenty years “walking the plank,” beginning as a 21-year-old beerslinger in Arcata, California; working his way up to bartending positions at cocktail lounges and neighborhood bars; was later beverage manager at a county club and hotel; and spent five years managing the legendary M&M Tavern in San Francisco –– a classic Irish saloon now known as The Chieftain. Steve has also been editor of four small-town weekly newspapers, currently writes a monthly column for publications in California and Florida.

He was appointed to the Alachua County Codes Enforcement Board by the Alachua County Commission. Terry has organized an Investor Meet-up group and workshop to teach young investors the right way to invest in real estate. He has published articles covering property rights, zoning and comprehensive plans in professional magazines. Terry is also a 20 year military veteran and combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm.

James C. Miller provides consulting services in Fatigue Risk Management Systems (FRMS) based upon 40 years of applied research and development concerning human cognitive performance and fatigue. He has focused mainly on the measurement and analysis of human physical and cognitive performance in military and civil aviation; highway, rail and maritime transportation; and night and shift work. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and is completing her PhD in Special Education Administration. She has a National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist for children with varying and multiple disabilities. Ms. Saunders coordinated and led a national program for children with deafness and autism for 11 years.
